A few reminders and updates for you. Only one game left for everyone in the double round-robin and then our A/B/C division finals on Monday night, March 30th.
Banquet
- A reminder for our end of season banquet. For those new to the league and unfamiliar with our banquet, we meet, have few drinks, and then enjoy a delicious hip of beef buffet. The buffet is followed by the presentation of the individual and team awards. Last seasons banquet was a huge success. The banquet is open to all current and past full-time players, spares, and guests; we highly encourage your significant others to join you to enjoy the buffet and social gathering.
Location: Meehan Cove Beach House
Date: Saturday, April 11th
Time: Doors open at 6:00 PM and buffet at 7:15 PM(ish)
Cost: $25 per player or $40 for player and Guest.
Please have your money for the banquet submitted to Emil this Wednesday, March 25th or next Monday, March 30th at the latest. If you’re not currently playing (LOA and spares) and you would like to attend, please reach out to anyone on the Executive or the coach of a team that you played with.
- The bar at the banquet is cash only. This year the league will not be returning a portion of your banquet fees when you arrive, so please ensure you have lots of cash in your wallet.
- We will have a few door prizes to hand out, but if there are any players from businesses that would like to contribute a door prize or two, we’d be happy to take those and draw for them at the banquet.
Finals Game Night
- A final at 8 PM, B final at 9:15 PM and C final at 10:30
- I will try to get all 6 dressing rooms so that the 8 PM game players do not need to leave their dressing room to make room for the 10:30 game players.
- 4 medium pizzas will be supplied after your game. Please make your own arrangements if you require more.
